Code For Downloading End of Day Option Data From CBOE Datashop

Upon purchase you will receive a Microsoft Word document that allows for the copy and pasting of the python code needed to merged the data from the CBOE Datashop. Also included are links to 2 YouTube videos I published that walk through the entire process from beginning to end.

The videos and the Python code used in conjunction will allow you to easily get through the confusing download process at the CBOE Datashop and transform the data into a format that is usable so that you can get to the data analysis stage. When the steps are performed correctly, the end result will be one .db file which contains all of the data purchased. A couple of things to note:

– This process only works on Windows computers. This will not work on Apple, Google, or any other app-based computers.
